The Dust Poets.
The Dust Poets perform the original music of veteran singer-songwriter Murray D. Evans, whose wry writer’s eye explores themes of home town losers, travel in foreign lands, and the absurdity of war. With their upbeat and unmistakable original sound, the band also performs an eclectic collection of country swing standards and underground pop covers. The Dust Poets’ all-acoustic line-up features guitar, upright bass, accordion, mandolin, clarinet, and percussion, plus extraordinary four part vocal harmonies.
If you like highly intelligent and sometimes hilarious song writing, sublime harmonies, the use of clarinets,
accordians, and a double bass, you are in for a treat. Please ... go to their web-site. You'll do yourself a favour.

Joint Presentation with the NEW Bohemian: Grant Lyle!.
If you like your music on the hot, steamy, visceral side ... something that just belongs in a smoky bar in Texas ... something like Stevie Ray Vaughan or Jimmy Hendrix ... where you cool off with a cold beer in a mason jar ... we've got the band and the night for you. One of Toronto's favorite power soul-blues performers.
Grant Lyle is quickly becoming one of Toronto's favorite power soul-blues performers. He captures the authentic feel of the old style blues but presents the music in a captivating and fresh style. Formed in 1998 by Grant Lyle, Brotherhood combines a mix of excellent and seasoned musicianship with youthful energy and enthusiasm.
His newest CD. "Live at Healey's" sees Grant at his very best as he performs your favorites, as well as some exiting new material, along side of some of Canada's most respected artists.
Other recent achievements for Grant include appearances on Breakfast Television and CKVR's Grow TV where his original music was used for the entire show. His CD's have received air time on CJRT, CIUT, CKLN, CKVS, CBC & others. He is on the air in such far-away places as Russia, France, England, USA, and Spain.
